PRODUCTION STAFF
Our Agency provides production workers for the FOOD INDUSTRY
We sourse agency workers with experience, hardworking individuals who are looking for steady jobs and full time employment. We aim to recruit people who know what they are starting and are here for the long term! Our agency workers can be responsible for all the production processes in a food plant of any size!
WORKING HOURS:
The companies who are taking our agency workers offer full time employment (39 hours a week minimum). There is overtime premium for those who work more than 39 hours. The companies operate their business on a shift basis. It could be that workers start work on a morning shift at 5am / 6am / 7am / 8am or 9am. Then there is evening shift which could start at 13 pm / 13,30pm / 14pm or 14,30pm. Also some factories operate night shifts which could start at 21 pm / 22pm. Our agency will arrange timely arrival at the factory through own agency transport; The trip to work could be between 20min and up to 50 min maximum. This will depend on the address and/or the staff accommodation if provided! Our clients expect flexability, speed and quality of the work to be carried out! In some days with workers consent there are extra hours and for this workers are paid premiums on top of their basic rate.
WORKING EXPERIENCE:
The more experience workers have the better! However, some clients take their new starters without experience and train them! There are pleanty of opportunities for those who wish to upskill in the industry. So we tell our agency workers: when you have your way in the factory - talk to your team leader or superior about upskilling and taking a higher paid position!
We teach our agency workers to not be affraid to ask, the question! But to just make sure it is put forward at the right time and to the right person. We teach our agency staff to be patient and diligent as things will go the right way when there is patience and understaning!
REMUNERATION:
Workers pay rate depends on the factory, if there is a union or minimum wage set by the factory. Some clients pay 11,30 per hour, some 12,10 and others 13,50. The rate depends on the workers rate expectation and the type of work carried out!
Our food operatives start as general operatives and upskill to machine operatives, team leaders and the rate adjusts accordingly.
ACCOMMODATION:
Our agency can offer accommodation as part of workers relocation packadge. If the candidate doesn't have own accommodation or transport that is OK becasue we can arrange transport and accommodation. Conditions are different and those are agreed as soon as the candidate is accepted and the employment is confirmed.
TRANSPORT:
Finally our agency has own private transport. Agency employees have access to transport to the factory where they will be working. At times we give agency cars to factory workers if any of them has ability to drive! We might entrust agency vehicle for the right people. Also, for the transport/driver and maintenance agency workers pay nothing. The only cost is fuel charge which currently is 28 euros per week. The agency informs the agency workers when there is a change of the cost for the fuel. Nobody is obliged to use agency accommodation or transport. Any worker is free to cancel the benefit and use their own way to get to work with a notice. Agency transport is a sign up service and it is weekly!
